Play-Based Learning
The following trainings can be tailored for any age 3 - 10.

It all Begins with Play (Multi-Part Series)
This training gives a basic understanding of sensory integration and it's impact on student's ability in regulating themselves for learning. Here we will learn about our sensory system, begin to define sensory related behaviors that are seen in the classroom, and tools on how to support your students so they can be in their just right place for learning.

Sounds, Letters & Play (Multi-Part Series)
This 3-part series teaches what phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, and phonics are, how they are different and how they relate to another. Research, which supports the Science of Reading, tells us that these prereading skills are essential to learning to read and spell. This training goes beyond the methodology and discusses how to embed these practices throughout the day in a developmentally appropriate and fun way. Additional information of each session are available upon request.

Meaningful Activities
This training discusses why some children have difficulty engaging in activities. Participants will learn how to structure parts of the day such as morning meeting, center time, and read alouds. Through hands-on learning, participants will interact with materials to design meaningful activities for the learners in their care.
